- The information you provide on this form will be processed by the EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY CYPRUS – which includes the Cyprus College (hereinafter the “College”) and will be processed in accordance with the College’s privacy policy. The information will be processed by:
- the College for the purpose of communicating with you and/or informing you in relation to the aforesaid programs of study for which you have hereby expressed your interest (hereafter the “Admission Purpose”),
and/or
- research companies with which the College cooperates (hereinafter the “Research Company”) for the purpose of (i) conducting a research, on behalf of the College (hereafter the “Survey Purpose”) and (ii) communicating with you, either by post, telephone, email or any other way, regarding any information relating to the Survey Purpose (provided you have positively opt-in herein below),
and/or
- Directorate of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth for informed decisions and design evidence-based policies on issues related to students and Higher Education of Cyprus. (if you have chosen positive to participate in the present below). More information can be found here.
- I acknowledge that in the event that I, the applicant, do not wish to be contacted further by the College and/or the Research Company, I may at any time inform the College and/or the Research Company in accordance with the available communication methods.
- For the avoidance of any doubt, the following apply:
- Any information and data provided herein by the applicant to the College and which will be used, either directly or indirectly, by the College and/or the Research Company for the performance of the Admission Purpose and/or the Survey Purpose (as the case may be), shall at all times be identified, clearly marked and recorded by the College and/or the Research Company as the personal data of the applicant.
- All personal data acquired from the applicant pursuant to this form shall be solely used by the EUC and/or the Research Company for the performance of the Admission Purpose and/or the Survey Purpose (as the case may be) and shall not be further processed or disclosed to any third party without the consent of the applicant unless this is required and/or allowed pursuant to the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data and/or the provisions of the applicable local legislation in relation to the protection of personal data (as amended from time to time) and/or the provisions of any other applicable legislation.
- The applicant has been notified of his/her rights in relation to his/her data contained herein. The aforesaid rights are outlined analytically in the Privacy Notice of the College, which is also available at https://cycollege.ac.cy/en/privacy-policy/ and upon request. For the avoidance of any doubt the applicant hereby confirms that the applicant is fully aware of his/her rights in relation to his/her data contained herein.

4. ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING/USE OF ONLINE PLATFORMS
The applicant understands and agrees to the following:
(a) For students registered in Distance Learning Programs of study: all classes and other sessions will be conducted online and the same may apply to all examinations.
(b) For students of Conventional and all other Programs of Study: classes, examinations and other sessions may be conducted online, as may be considered appropriate by the University.
