Presentation on Certified Fraud Examiner qualification

The School of Professional  Studies (SPS) will be offering a course leading to the professional qualification of the  Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

The ACFE is the world's largest anti-fraud organization with more than 75000 members worldwide. CFEs possess a unique set of skills that are not found in any other career field or discipline; they combine knowledge of complex financial transactions with an understanding of methods, law, and how to prevent fraud and resolve allegations of fraud. Fraud examiners are also trained to understand not only how fraud occurs, but why.

The course will be divided into two main parts: 1) Taught phase, covering the material for all four modules and the Revision phase which will focus on revising the material through question solving.

The course will be delivered week commencing 18 May in our Nicosia and Limassol centers by highly qualified and experienced professionals, who are members of the Association of the Certified Fraud Examiners; they also possess other professional accountancy qualifications. The only exemption is our law tutor who is a co-author of a law manual and he has been delivering courses for the ACCA/ICAEW qualifications and  CPD seminars ; he possesses academic qualifications. Our tutors have developed exam focus material in an effort to help candidates to better prepare themselves for the CFE examination.

presentation will be held in our Nicosia and Limassol centers on Thursday 7 May  and Friday 8  May respectively, providing more details about the qualification and how the course will be delivered.

It is worth noting that candidates who attend the above course will qualify for CPD units. Furthermore they will receive a certificate of attendance from Cyprus College upon completion of each module of the CFE syllabus.
